Intentional Parenting

For parents of children of all ages

Every parent has dreams for their children and a hope filled with the best of intentions.

Raising kids is a difficult challenge and it requires a plan—without a plan, parents often default to what we call “Quick-Fix Parenting.”  Surviving each day is much easier than taking the time and energy to consider how your current parenting actions are impacting a child’s future.

To be an exceptional parent, you need to be an intentional parent. Fortunately, help is available by veteran parents and best-selling authors, Doug Fields and Cathy Fields—they want to help you move from Quick-Fix Parenting to Intentional Parenting. They’ve put together 10 actions that will impact the future of your children. These 10 actions are doable! You can get started implementing these ideas into your parenting and you will see immediate results in your child—no matter their age.

It’s NEVER too early to start!

  • Do you want to see your children display confidence?
  • Do you want to see your children develop character?
  • Do you want to see your children have strong convictions?
  • Do you want to see your children express compassion?
  • Ultimately, do you want to see your children grow up to be competent young adults?

If so, this is the guide to help you achieve those results.

Christ Centered Parenting

For parents of children and teens

Do you ever feel ill equipped to talk about the cultural issues of our day? Designed to help you lead your children and teens in a confident and responsible way, this 6-session resource will equip you to address pressing cultural topics which children of all ages, from preschoolers through young adults, face, including:

  • Gender issues

  • Suicide, depression, and anxiety

  • Pornography

  • Addiction and coping mechanisms

  • Same-sex marriage

  • Singleness, dating, marriage, and divorce

Give your kids a biblical worldview that will produce the next generation of culture shapers—not simply the next generation shaped by their culture.

For moms and tween daughters

Treasured is a six session study for moms and their preteen daughters.  It's designed to help girls think about the questions they are already asking, and creates opportunities to interact with their moms. The six critical issues for girls in the preteen phase include: identity, body image, emotions, friendships, technology, and faith.  We hope to initiate important conversations to help moms and daughters navigate this season together, strengthening the bond between them. She’ll discover just how Treasured she is.

Single and Parenting

For single parents of any age children

If you are a single parent, you're probably tired, overwhelmed and feeling a bit underappreciated.   It is a 6 week study done in 2 parts (part 1 in the fall and part 2 in the spring.)  It is designed for single moms and dads.  You will participate in video seminars as well as small group discussions that guide parents to wisely encourage your kids to obey, help your hurting child, eliminate debt, deal with verbal onslaughts and figure out what your emotions are telling you.  Plus, you'll develop meaningful friendships with other single parents, who, like you, are tired of hectic mornings and chaotic evenings, the kids fighting, and a never-ending to do list.  Take the guess work out of parenting alone.  That's why we created Single & Parenting groups - to share tips and parenting wisdom that will help you find rest, hope and encouragement.

Made Known

A one night event held on:

Friday, November 1st

6:00 pm

For those who have experienced pregnancy and infant loss

As the church, we are called to gather around those in pain. Made Known is a pregnancy and infant loss event that is a one night only.  It is created to acknowledge the babies in our church and in our community who were MADE by God, KNOWN by their parents and will be MADE KNOWN through remembering and honoring their short, but significant lives.

This event is designed for families wrestling with the isolating pain of losing a child. The goal of the evening is to connect grieving families and not only recognize their loss but give them permission to grieve and celebrate the child they never knew.

“We are here to help you!”
