Effective Parenting in A Defective World

For parents of children of all ages

Raising Kids is Tough...but God has a Plan.

Raising children is a challenge in today's world. Peers and pop culture exert never-ending pressure on kids. Every day they are bombarded with the pressures and influences of drugs, sex, and violence. Often, parents feel helpless when the corrupt principles of this defective world seem to contradict every godly principle they try to instill in their children, but the good news is that God has a plan for effectively raising children and you can learn it!

In this series, you will

  1. Learn universally applicable principles

  2. Apply practical lessons about discipline

  3. Understand and implement simple biblical truths

This 6 session study includes the following messages:

  • How to Raise Positive Kids in a Negative World

  • How to Develop Your Child's Full Potential

  • How to Prepare Your Kids to Win Life's Biggest Battles

  • How to Discipline Your Child Effectively

Single and Parenting - Part 2

For single parents of any age children

If you are a single parent, you're probably tired, overwhelmed and feeling a bit underappreciated.   It is a 6 week study done in 2 parts (part 1 in the fall and part 2 in the spring.)  It is designed for single moms and dads.  You will participate in video seminars as well as small group discussions that guide parents to wisely encourage your kids to obey, help your hurting child, eliminate debt, deal with verbal onslaughts and figure out what your emotions are telling you.  Plus, you'll develop meaningful friendships with other single parents, who, like you, are tired of hectic mornings and chaotic evenings, the kids fighting, and a never-ending to do list.  Take the guess work out of parenting alone.  That's why we created Single & Parenting groups - to share tips and parenting wisdom that will help you find rest, hope and encouragement.
